The role
We are looking for a Credit Risk Specialist with solid experience to join our team of finance professionals in Singapore office.
The ideal candidate has a can-do attitude, and a desire to grow and be a part of the company’s success.
Job responsibilities
- • Implementation and participation in the development of the credit risk management policy and procedures within the company
- • Local support of the management and employees in credit risk-related matters
- • Credit risk standing assessment for existing and new counterparties
- • Maintaining of used databases/models
- • Monitoring of the local trading team’s AR portfolio
- • Collection and utilization of data to build risk segmentation and mitigation strategies
Our future colleague
- Has 3+ years of relevant experience in Asian market. Credit Risk evaluation skills are a must
- Has acquired at least a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or another related field
- Is fluent in Mandarin and English
- Possesses sound market knowledge in the APAC area and expertise in the shipping and/or oil & gas industries
- Is comfortable to work with large amount of data, understands the business behind the numbers and can dig for alternative data if needed
- Can work independently from a team in a different time zone and make responsible decisions within the limits of received authorisation and the Company’s policies
