The role
We are looking for an Accountant to join our team of shipping professionals.
The ideal candidate is having a can-do attitude, and desire to grow and be a part of the company’s success. The accountant will be reporting to the company CFO and working full time in our Limassol premises.
Job responsibilities
- Daily bookkeeping tasks
- Processing of payment orders of the company
- Monthly financial and management reporting
- Audit of Operations cash flows
- Bank accounts and operational cash flow reconciliations
- Liaison with banks and other financial institutions
- Post-fixing reconciliations and audits
- Ensuring financial accounting and document workflow meets the requirements of the Accounting Act and business needs, as well as complies with applicable legislation
- Additional ad-hoc tasks
Our future colleague
- Has 3+ years of experience in accounting
- Has acquired at least a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Is fluent in Russian and English
- Knows local and international taxation principles, as well as IFRS
- Is advanced Excel user
- Is able to work independently, but still enjoys working in a team, and can manage multiple tasks in the fast-paced environment
- Is precise and attentive to detail in task execution
- Consolidation skills would be an advantage
